Before reading the 10 best places to live in Maine, I wish to share with you some short information on Maine.
Maine is a state in the New England region of the United States. ‘New England’ is a region comprising six states in the Northeastern United States i.e. Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
Maine is known for its Jagged, Rocky, Coastline, Rolling Mountains, Heavily forested interior, Picturesque waterways and its seafood Cuisine, especially Lobster (Lobster is also known as Atlantic Lobster, Canadian Lobster, True Lobster, Northern Lobster, Canadian Reds or Maine Lobster. It can reach a body length 64 cm. and over 20 Kilograms) and Clams (Common name for several kinds of bivalve molluscs. It has two shells of equal size connected by two adductor muscles and have a powerful burrowing foot.)
The total area of Maine is 35,385 Sq. MI of which 30,862 Sq. MI is land and 4,523 Sq. MI is water. Maine’s total population is 1344212 (2019). 92% speak English, 5% French and 3% others language.

10. Kennebunk:
Kennebunk is a town in York Country. It is the Southwestern most country in the United States of Mine, along with the state of New Hampshire’s eastern border. Kennebunk takes 10th position in the list of 10 best places to live in Maine.
Kennebunk is home to several beaches, lots of famous places and established are presented in Maine. The Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge, it is a 9125 Acer (37km2). National Wildlife Refuge made up of several parcels of land along 50 miles of Maine’s Southern Coast. The Brick Store Museum and Nature Conservancy also famous things of Kennebunk.

Bar harbors is a town on Mount Desert Island in Hancock Country, Maine, the U.S. As per the 2010 Census, Its population is 5235. Bar harbors is a popular tourist destination. It is famous for the college of Atlantic, Jackson Laboratory and MDI Biological Laboratory. The total area of Bar harbors is 63.11 Sq. MI (163.45 Km2).
08. Freeport:
Freeport is a town in Cumberland country, Maine, U.S. Population of Freeport was 7879. It is famous for Shipbuilding Industry, Timber Operation and Farming. L.L. Bean, Wolfe’s Neck Wood Street Park and the desert of Maine are the famous places of Freeport.

MI (118.96 Km2) of which 14.70 Sq. MI (38.07 Km2) is land and 31.23 Sq. MI (80.89 Km2) is water.
